Lismore Base Hospital is the primary referral centre for the Northern NSW Local Health District, servicing a population of over 180,000 people across a large regional catchment. The new Clinical Services Building includes expanded emergency services, new operating theatres, intensive care and high-dependency units, and upgraded inpatient and birthing facilities—significantly increasing the hospital’s capacity and capabilities.

To support this transformation, ID-LAB developed a signage system that draws on the architectural form language of the interior design, creating a cohesive experience that feels intuitive and easy to navigate. The system integrates seamlessly into the built environment while remaining highly functional and accessible for all users.
