Richard Wolfstrome
For more than 25 years, I’ve explored the relationship between people and place through environmental design, wayfinding, interpretation, and place identity. My work helps people understand where they are, connect with where they are, and experience places in ways that feel meaningful and memorable.
I’m fascinated by the stories, histories, and cultural layers that shape our towns, cities, landscapes, and public spaces. Through research, collaboration, and creative exploration, I work with clients and communities to reveal what makes a place distinctive and translate that into experiences people can genuinely connect with.
Alongside my design practice, I am also an artist. Both disciplines are driven by the same curiosity about place, culture, memory, and the ways people make meaning from the world around them.
