Loïc Hellégouarch

Initially trained in advertising and sales, I evolved through my experiences toward communication and signage within establishments open to the public.

After more than twenty years working across fields as varied as the hospital sector, universities, administrative centers, and prestigious wine estates, the challenges of user experience, customer experience, and patient experience led me to specialize in improving the navigability of the built environment and the practice of wayfinding design.

These institutions are not simply collections of buildings, services, and corridors. They function as a complex flow system that requires a well-managed environment to operate efficiently and to reconcile their economic and operational imperatives with the experiential expectations of their clients, patients, students, and professionals.

My approach is therefore to take the question of navigability out of the sole register of equipment and to treat it as what it truly is: a matter of engineering physical journeys within the built environment.

I work primarily with healthcare institutions and higher education institutions in France and Switzerland, supporting design teams and architects, or working directly with institutions' own teams.

Living in the beautiful Bordeaux region, I make the most of its wonderful landscapes and, as often as possible, the gastronomy of southwestern France with my family.
