Juliana Koszka

I'm fascinated by the moment people realize this profession exists—that someone is responsible for helping them navigate a complex environment so intuitively that they reach their destination without even noticing. That's what drew me to wayfinding more than 15 years ago. It brought together everything I enjoyed about being an architect, and it's what continues to inspire my work today.

Born and raised in Brazil, I've worked on wayfinding systems for South America's largest airport hub in São Paulo, as well as stadiums, multimodal transport hubs, shopping centres, and high-traffic parking facilities across Europe and the Middle East.

I approach every project as a system. Understanding circulation, accessibility, user behaviour, and operational constraints allows me to transform complexity into intuitive navigation. Living and working in France has reinforced my belief that people experience spaces differently, and that effective wayfinding must respond to cultural as well as spatial contexts.

I also enjoy sharing this way of thinking through lectures and professional exchanges. Outside work, you'll usually find me cycling and exploring unfamiliar places—because every now and then, it's good to get lost.
