Emily Sproule

I’m an environmental psychologist and inclusive design consultant with a background in architecture. My focus is on creating built environments that genuinely work for people—particularly those with diverse needs. I studied environmental psychology to deepen my understanding of human behaviour and to strengthen the connection between evidence, design, and lived experience.

My work combines practical design knowledge with behavioural insight. I’m especially interested in how people with conditions such as autism or dementia experience space, and how thoughtful design can better support them. That curiosity has led to a number of research projects, giving me the opportunity to explore how we can make everyday environments more accessible, intuitive, and inclusive.

I work on many of the evaluation, validation and testing activities at Humanics Collective.
