I’m a communication design specialist with 30 years of industry experience, with the past two decades focused on user-centred design. My core expertise lies in information design and research, but I’ve also delivered branding, publication, and marketing projects across diverse sectors. I’m passionate about sharing knowledge and have taught at Swinburne University for over 16 years, mentoring the next generation of designers.

Over the years, I’ve built a strong international reputation in the information design community. My work has been published in academic books and journals, featured in major award annuals, and recognised by IIID, AGDA, and international design juries. I’m currently an Executive Board Member of the International Institute for Information Design.

Design for me is about clarity, performance, and lasting impact. Whether shaping healthcare instructions, bank statements, or signage systems, I focus on what helps people understand—and act.

Outside of work, I stay creatively energised through public speaking, international collaboration, and the occasional deep-dive into instructional design for coin collections.
